I am a common law graduate who has completed a Master’s in Canadian Common Law at Osgoode Hall Law School and satisfied all NCA requirements, with Ontario licensing exams forthcoming. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Laws from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Political Science, with double minors in English Literature and Philosophy. That interdisciplinary training sharpened my ability to analyze complex problems, interpret dense material with precision, and construct clear, structured arguments.
My experience spans statutory advocacy in education law, large-scale document review in financial investigations, and exposure to commercial litigation matters. I have rebuilt fragmented caseloads involving public-law duties, translating lived facts into coherent legal submissions that required decision-makers to respond. In disclosure projects involving tens of thousands of documents, I assessed evidentiary relevance in matters concerning alleged financial misconduct and governance failures, identifying key materials for senior lawyers. In a high-volume banking environment, I exercised regulatory judgment daily, enforcing compliance protocols and independently preventing a significant wire error prior to approval.
I am particularly interested in civil litigation because it draws on careful reasoning, evidentiary discipline, and strategic problem-solving. I bring strong written advocacy, sound judgment, and the ability to take ownership of complex files, and I am seeking a role where I can contribute meaningfully from the outset while continuing to develop as a lawyer.
